Adam Weaver

Class of 2011 Majors: Communications, Sociology

Associate at Pillsbury, Winthrop, Shaw & Pittman, LLP

President (2010-11)

Adam joined RUMTA in 2009 as a middle attorney and a witness. By the next year, he was both a closing attorney and a witness on the A Team.

During the summer after his first year of law school, Adam worked as a law clerk for GE Oil & Gas. The following fall, he was an intern for the Honorable Gray H. Miller in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, as well as a research assistant to Professor Robert Ragazzo. The summer of 2013, he held two summer associate positions; one was with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP and the other with Pillsbury, Winthrop, Shaw & Pittman, LLP.  Today, Adam still works with Winthrop, Shaw & Pittman as an associate attorney.

RUMTA has helped me out tremendously since graduating from Rutgers. The obvious benefit was that it helped me succeed in law school (especially Evidence) but even more helpful, it taught me how to think differently and apply logic and reasoning in unique ways. It opened the door to a number of possibilities for me and allowed me to make life-long friends.
