Katie joined RUMTA as a sophomore and competed on A-Team during her three years in the organization. During her time on A-Team, she played a vitally important role as a witness, portraying on multiple occasions defendants, expert witnesses, character witnesses, and party representatives. She competed on the Nationals Team in Minneapolis during the 2017-2018 season, and served on the Executive Board her senior year as the Vice President of External Relations.

Katie spent time teaching with Teach for America and then for a middle school. She then went on to work for the Green Chair Project, and is currently the Grants Manager for the Salvation Army.
